Uniting Wimmera provides a counselling for children service.
The counselling service can help in the following ways:
• Assist children with self-regulation and significant emotions that may be impacting on their daily life
• Support a parent/carer or child to manage their anxiety around the current stressors of Covid-19
• Assist a child experiencing separation challenges
• Support a child experiencing grief and loss and support a parent/carer where these challenges are impacting on their parenting
• Support a parent/carer learning to navigate and manage stresses impacting on their parenting.
Eligibility You are eligible if you are:
• A child or young person aged from 5-18 years
• An adult who has a child or children under the age of 18 in your care.
Counselling is confidential and usually conducted one on one and can be provided via video link-up, phone or in person.

Harrow Neighbourhood House is now able to assist community members experiencing financial hardship to access the State Government’s $250 Power Saving Bonus.
The Power Saving Bonus provides eligible Victorians with a one-off $250 payment, to assist households with the cost living during the COVID-19 pandemic. To be eligible for the Power Saving Bonus, applicants must hold a pensioner concession card or receive JobSeeker, Austudy, Abstudy or Youth Allowance.
